It’s National Maple Syrup Day! Let’s celebrate by drenching our all time favorite pancakes with that sweet amber syrup!! Make them for breakfast or dinner, this recipe will surely please the kids and adults in your family.
All- time Favorite Pancakes
1 ½ C Sifted all purpose flour
3 ½ tsp baking powder
¾ tsp salt
2 Tbsp sugar
1 egg beaten
1 ¾ C Milk
3 Tbsp melted butter or oil
Sift flour with baking powder, salt and sugar. Combine egg, milk, butter or shortening and add to dry ingredients. Beat until smooth. Drop by tablespoonfuls or ¼ cup measure onto a hot griddle. Cook on one side until puffed and full of bubbles. Turn and cook the other side.
