Getting outside and playing is, what I feel is, one of the most important things we can give kids. It is a great time for them to learn and discover not only about the environment around them, but also gives them time to use and develop their imagination.
This weekend, why not make your own paintbrushes and do some ice painting outside. Here’s what you’ll need:
Combine 1 tsp. of paint with 1 tsp. of water inside each space of your ice cube tray. Be sure to vary the colours. Place a popsicle stick inside each of the spaces so that your kids have something to hold on to. Place your tray in the freezer until the paints have become frozen. Bring everything outside and allow your child to get creative.
